Jing Hua Restaurant Revisit

I was at Jing Hua Restaurant (Previously known as Qun Zhong Eating House) again. It was like 8 years later since the last time I was here and I noticed the restaurant had gone through some renovation and expanded its space doubled. But food wise, it was just as good as last time.

This restaurant does not have a long list of menu but people still keep coming back for that few item.

The dumplings and Xiao Long Bao come in set of 8 or 10 so it was quite hard for two of us to order too much. What we ordered was:

1) Noodles with Minced Pork and Soya Bean Paste

It wasn’t very glam of the dish but the noodles taste just nice unlike some that was overly salty. Still, a bowl for $5.00 was abit expensive.

2) Mixed Seafood, Pork Dumplings (Pan Fried)

Next up, Pan Fried dumplings that comes in a set of 10. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Once you bite, the juicy just came dripping.

3) Xiao Long Bao

The world wide famous Xiao Long Bao was as good. The skin was very thin which I was so scare it will tear before I picked it up to my spoon. Lucky it did not. This was also alot, a set of 8.

4) Lastly, we ordered a bowl of Tang Yuan after hearing from next table that it was famous for that as well. The Tang Yuan was very different from the rest that I had before. It was served in a fragrant tea. Very special. A must try.

What I wanted to try if I still have space in my stomach was the Chinese Pizza. The waitress advice us not to order as it is too much for 2 person.
